HOW TO MEASURE

Measure your kid in sixty seconds.

You'll need a soft tape measure (or a length of string and a ruler — completely fine). Measure over a thin t-shirt, not over thick clothes. Don't pull tight — keep the tape just touching the body. If your kid won't stand still, measure them while they sleep. Three minutes from end to end.

Chest

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits. Note the centimetres.

Length

From the highest point of the shoulder (where the collar would sit) straight down to where you'd like the tee to fall — usually just above the mid-thigh.

Waist

Toddler waists move around. Measure at the natural fold above the belly button, gently, without pulling the tape tight.

Inseam

From the inside of the leg at the crotch, straight down to the ankle bone.

Head circumference

Wrap the tape around the head just above the eyebrows and around the widest part at the back.

BETWEEN SIZES

Size down.

Every Patang tee is cut six centimetres wider than its age grade — on purpose. If your kid is between sizes, the smaller size will still feel generously oversized. The larger size will look like a dress.
